Jessica's life started out with many medical problems. She was born with heart and lung defects. Throughout her 22 years of life she was in and out of hospitals with five heart surgeries and other medical procedures. She had suffered strokes during surgery and was left mentally at the level of a seven year old child. In spite of this she was able to live a happy life. She enjoyed her family. She was our little girl who was interested in princes and princesses, writing her own stories, dreaming about Harry Potter, Legolas from Lord of the Rings and Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean. Even though she suffered continuous pain, sadness and disappointment, she was overall very happy and loving to all she met. She was always worried if someone she knew got sick and wanted them to feel better soon. She was always thinking of others and would draw or trace pictures, bead bracelets and necklaces in an effort to show her love for others.
She was a inspiration to her family, those close to her home and throughout the world. And through her example of living a full life with happiness and love she invoked charity and compassion in all who knew her or of her. Though she will be missed, she will always bring a smile and a light of faith to the heart.
Jessica is survived by her loving parents, Karl and Nancy Jensen, brothers Justen "Ravyn", Brandon and Austin. Paternal grandparents Richard and Annette Jensen, maternal grandparents Ron and Julie Taylor. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. She joins one first cousin, Marcus Russell and her mother's cousin, Martin Wimmer in heaven.
Arrangements under the direction of East Lawn Palms Mortuary, Tucson, AZ.
