Jean Lenore Wehrman passed away at the age of 80, on January 31, 2020 in Tucson, Arizona. She was born to Henry and Lenora (Jenner) Wehrman on August 6, 1939 in Jasper, Minnesota. She moved to Tucson with her family in September of 1951. She graduated from Pueblo High School in 1957, graduating first in her class. Jean was in the first nursing class at the University of Arizona. She moved to and worked in Colorado before coming back to the University of Arizona to complete her Master’s in Nursing. From there, she moved to Palm Desert, California and worked at Eisenhower Memorial Hospital for 18 years, where she was the Assistant Director of Nursing. She left Eisenhower Memorial to open and run her Needlepoint Joint Shop for another 18 years. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Lenora, her brother Joel Wehrman, Nephew Michael Wehrman, brother-in-law Don Eichhorst, sister in law Ellen Wehrman. She is survived by brothers John Wehrman of New Jersey and James and Jeanie Wehrman of Texas; sister Janies Eichhorst of Tucson, sister in law Barbara of Washington. Jean was an Aunt to 8 nieces and nephews, 17 great and 14 great great nieces and nephews.
