Janet F. Elaban, 79, of Tucson, AZ., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28th. 2020.
Born on March 6th, 1940 in Port Huron, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Willard Osmer and Hannah Cross Osmer.
Janet (Jan) moved to southern Arizona in the early 1970's and worked on Fort Huachuca as an executive secretary in civil service for over 20 years. After retiring in 1997, she moved to Tucson, AZ to be near family. She was a devote Christian and a beloved member of Tucson Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two children. Son, Bryan Brown and daughter, Coleen Schaefer, also son in law Daniel Schaefer, and granddaughter, Aidan Rose Schaefer
Memorial services will be conducted at 9:30 am on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary with Deacon Bud Savage officiating. A graveside service will be held at East Lawn Palms Cemetery following the memorial.
