Jim Cross died peacefully on November 15, 2022. He was bom in Bemidji, Minnesota on July 15,1947 to Ellen and Bruce Cross, but he grew up in nearby Blackduck among family and friends where he enjoy hunting, hockey and travels with his parents. In 1964, his family moved to Tucson where he graduated from Catalina High School in 1965, and on to the University of Arizona where he eamed his B.A. in business in 1969. In Tucson, he found his love of golf, and he became a member of Saguaro Golf Club where he made and maintained friendships through the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved grandson, Ryan. He is survived by Sue, his wife of 47 years, his daughter Holly (Jonathan) Cottor, and grandson, Ethan. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo on Saturday December 10,2022 at 10:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Alzheimer's Association or to Ryan House.
