Isiadore Knighten 65, of Tucson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Born on May 24, 1948 in Baton Rouge, LA. He is survived by his only son, Kiron. He leaves behind his sister, Dorthy Brady of Baton Rouge, LA; brother, James "Pete" Knighten of Port Allen, LA; Robert Knighten of Daly City, CA along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss their uncle or cousin, "Sonny". A graduate of Capitol High School ('66) in Baton Rouge, he then went on to serve 23 years in the United States Air Force before retiring in 1990. Isiadore then proceeded to serve as a police officer at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Tucson, AZ for 21 years before retiring in 2011. Services will be Monday, March 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTHLAWN, 5401 S. Park Ave. Graveside to follow. -
