Harlan Blane Cody

Born December 8, 1956 in Farmington, NM to Edwin Lee Cody and Maggie Jane Price. Siblings Durwin Cody, Eddie Cody, Dennis (Dino) Cody, Nedra Cody and Lisa Schick.

Harlan enjoyed camping, fishing, football and NASCAR. He joined the Army at the age of 18 years old in 1977. He spent 3 1/2 years serving our country before moving his small family back to Tucson in 1980. Harlan then proceeded to follow his dreams and became an EMT and Firefighter. He absolutely LOVED his job. Harlan stayed with the fire service 27 1/2 years. He worked with the most amazing men and women who share the same love and passion serving the community. They were FAMILY!

Harlan impacted so many lives in and out of the fire service. He will be missed by so many.

Harlan is survived by his four children, Laura Moorehead, Micah Cody, Ericka Cody and Lynda Cody. His 11 grandchildren, Shaylah, Jasmynn, Victoria, Samantha, Destiny, Jenna, Makayla (Zoe), Dallas, Austyn, Tristan and Coltin. His siblings, Durwin Cody, Dennis (Dino) Cody and Lisa Schick. 15 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Cody and Maggie Price, his brother Eddie Cody and sister Nedra Cody.

There is a public viewing for all who would like to attend at East Lawn Palms Mortuary November 20, 2015 at 1400-1600.

Memorial services will be held Saturday December 5, 2015 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers or gifts any donations made to the burial fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
