My sympathies at the loss of Gordon.  He was a friend and comforter to my daughter when she moved far from home.  He was to her a grandfather, to her little daughter, a great grandpa.  I am so pleased that our family was blessed with Gordon.  God rest his soul.  Christmas with the King!

Gordon Hill was, besides being my father, a fine singer.  He was a pioneer in Southern Gospel music.  There is a fine biography of him at http://wwq.sghistory.com/index.php?n=G.Gordon_Hill.  Please take some time to read it.  Anyone who knew him, knew he was an interesting character.  He loved to laugh.  He loved to sing.  But, most of all, he loved his Lord, Christ Jesus.  One day, because of the sinless life, atoning death, and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, I know I will see my Dad again.
