George Manchester Taylor Jr.

George was born in Western Springs, IL to George and Josephine Taylor.

He attended Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL. He continued his education at Culver Stockton College in Canton, MO. After college he served in the Air Force Reserves in the 217th GEEIA Squadron. After service, he began a 35 year career at IBM Corporation.

He enjoyed golf, fine wine and his beloved Chicago Bears. He enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle Taylor of Tucson, AZ; brothers and sisters, Patricia Schermerhorn, William J. Taylor and Tom Taylor; his son and daughter-in-law, George Taylor III and Laura Taylor; grandchildren George Taylor IV (Drew) and Reagan Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, George and Josephine Taylor; and son Kent Taylor.

Service is scheduled for Friday, March 8th at 11:00a at the East Lawn Palms Mortuary (5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson, AZ 85712).
