George Lopez

03/04/1962 - 12/31/2021

At the age of 59, George went home to be with his Heavenly Father. Born in Los Angeles, CA. on March 04, 1962, George was raised in Prunedale, CA. by his parents Delfida and Joe Lopez. The family moved to Tucson, AZ where he graduated from Santa Rita High School in 1981. Shortly after graduation, George joined the military and served 4 years in the US Air Force. Although he never fathered any children, he treated his many nieces and nephews as his own. George worked for many years in the propane industry and most recently worked in the pest control business out of Phoenix, AZ. George was a handyman and enjoyed home projects and spending his extra time with family and friends. George is preceded in death by his sister Rosemary and his parents Delfida and Joe. George is survived by his siblings Annabel, Cecilia Lockwood (Patrick), Josie Moreno (Jaime), Joe (Valerie), Cindy (Thomas), Jerry (Amy), Gabriel (Jane), Leticia and many nieces, nephews and extended family. George was a giving person and will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know him.

Services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 9 AM @ Funeraria Del Angel South Lawn & Cemetery: 5401 S. Park Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85706.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:30-4:30 pm at The American Legion Post #7, 330 W. Franklin St. Tucson, AZ 85701.
