George was born to James and Elizabeth Coleman on September 25, 1945 in Tucson, Arizona.
George was a Tucson Native and graduated from Catalina High School in 1963. He attended college at The University of Arizona, majoring in Architecture before he was drafted to the Korean War where he met Connie Coleman whom he married. They had two children together David and Jamie.
George will be missed by all that knew him. He was well known in the road construction industry serving as a foreman and retired from Borderland Construction in 2011. He loved Nascar, football, drag racing, and building things with his hands. He was a true patriot and US Army Veteran that loved his country. He will be forever missed and loved.
George is survived by his brother Richard Coleman, sister Judy Palmer, his children David Coleman, and James (Nicole) Coleman, grandson Kyle Coleman and two grandsons of the heart Robert Harrison and Marcus Clinton, and many extended family members.
A burial with military honors will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 at 12:00pm at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 E Grant Rd. Tucson, AZ 85712.
