Fred was born in Greenwich, CT on January 19, 1940 to Norman Austin Seeley and Madeleine Amelia Oxford. He attended The Orme School in Arizona, continued on to graduate from Colorado State University and served honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard. Fred worked most of his life in Commercial Property Management as a CPM and owned a few businesses. Once retired, out of enjoyment, he drove commercial buses for a few years until he was no longer able, due to his diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. He loved anything having to do with airplanes and flying, earned his pilot’s license and owned his own plane for a few years. Fred moved to CA in his final years and was able to enjoy time with friends and family. All he ever wanted was for his kids to be happy and gave up everything to make that happen.
Fred is survived by his son William Seeley (Lisa), daughters Karen McBride (Gavin) and Elizabeth Seeley, his 8 grandchildren: Douglas, Mark, Jack, Carson, Quinn and Brody Seeley, Madison and Taylor McBride and younger brother Norman Seeley Jr. (Karen). He was preceded by his father, mother and older sister, Sandra Grosswiler.
The graveside service will be held at 9am on August 18, 2017 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
