Frederick George Hillier Jr., born November 11, 1917 in Salt Lake City, UT, passed away on June 13, 2013. Fred was preceded in death by Marie, his loving wife of 70 years; his brother, Wayne; and sister, Jesslyn. Fred is survived by daughters, Kathleen Hillier and Kristine (Patrick) McGinnis and grandchildren, Neal and Nora McGinnis, all of Tucson. He is also survived by brothers, Robert (Beth) Hillier, Ronald (Gloria) Hillier and sister, Frances Erickson all of Utah. Fred worked in New Jersey and Kentucky as an engineer for GAF for 38 years, retired in 1982, and moved to Tucson in 1992. Fred was a devoted family man and a good friend. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m. on June 20 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Casa de la Luz Foundation.
