Francisco B. Zuniga “Tata Frank” passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on April 11, 2024 in Marana, Arizona. He was born on May 26th 1946 in Cananea, Mexico to Felicitas Ballesteros and Sebastian Zuniga. He was raised in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico along with his brothers and sisters. He lived in Tucson, Arizona for the remainder of his life and is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Josie; his children; Frank, Roxanne, Monique(Richard) and Denise; and his 10 grandchildren; Carlos, Celissa, Analissa, Arturo, Christopher, Giselle, Amanda, Memo, Jordan and Jasmine; and 10 great grandchildren; Amaya, Noah, Adam, Christian, Ezrah, Eli, Sebastian, Mila, Kingston and Amora.
Early on in life he performed humanitarian assistance in the Cruz Roja Mexicana (Mexican Red Cross). He worked most of his life as a raker for asphalt companies and also enjoyed manual labor and doing side jobs. He was a jack of all trades, the hardest most dependable dad, tata and husband. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed watching WWE and going to the Casinos.
A Rosary will be held @ 9:30am on May 10th, following a memorial mass @ 10:00am at Most Holy Trinity Parish on 1300 N Greasewood Rd 85745.
Note to tata: We will never forget you tata, you were always there for all of us no matter what, we will carry you in our hearts forever. Until we meet again we hope you are resting peacefully now.
