Eugene V. DeChant

Eugene V. DeChant 76, passed peacefully on September 27, 2014. Father of Sharon (Jackson), Joseph and Cindie DeChant. Survived by sisters, Nancy Martin and Diana Dechant. Grandfather to Jennifer, Lacy, Tiffany and Kaylee. Great- grandfather to Emily and Jack. Preceded in death by his wife, Darlene of 57 years and his brothers, Roy and Ronald. Gene was a very successful and respected business owner in the Construction Industry. When he wasn't on the porch swing enjoying his family and friends, he was in the Dunes, at the lake, on the road with his Elks RV and Hot Rod friends or participating in Classic Car shows. A Celebration of his Life will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS MORTUARY, 5801 E. Grant Rd., Tucson on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. We will miss his friendship, wisdom, warm heart and Big Teddy bear hugs. We love you and will miss you. You will be in our hearts forever.
