Erika was born on April 26, 1926, in Germany. She passed away on July 1, 2010. Erika was preceded in death by her daughter Birgit Pollman and husband Lt. Co. Walter Sippel. She is survived by two grandsons, Tobias Pollman (wife, Bettina) and Sven Arne Pollman from Germany.
Erika worked for the city of Brunschwieg, Germany and moved to Tucson, Arizona after her marriage to Walter Sippel (Lt. Col. Ret. US Army) in 1985. Since February 29, 2009, Erika had resided at the Forum in Tucson. She will be deeply missed by her grandsons and friends.
