Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as we remember Erika. She was truly one of the best humans around and there was nobody I would rather work a long shift with. She was kind, funny, and incredibly witty. She was never more excited than when she was talking about Danica and the great things she did and had still yet to do. Throughout the years we would chat and catch up on our lives and one update remained constant, her love for her family. Please accept my deepest condolences and know she will be remembered often and fondly by many.

I could search a million lifetimes and never find a friend as true and loyal as Erika. She was incredibly generous, hilarious, fiercely protective and just generally amazing. She also had brains, brawn and beauty galore. She was a very talented artist as well as a devoted animal caretaker. She was so deeply devoted to those she loved which was a group of people (and animals) I was lucky enough to be included in. I will love you forever, Erika, and you'll always be my very best friend, my BFF, the sister of my heart as Patty so beautifully wrote on Facebook.

My Dad nicknamed Erika "The Rock" in high school because she told me he was her cousin and I believed her because her impression was spot on and she enjoyed wrestling in the quad or at the bus stop. Erika was also really strong too! She was my rock through some very difficult times and in some ways I owe my very life to her. I will never stop loving her or finding new ways to honor Erika.

So many wonderful memories made in Vegas with Erika, Patty and Michelle. Speaking of Vegas I will never forget how I suddenly decided I absolutely had to see Jane Eyre because of my massive Michael Fassbender crush and Erika made it happen even though the closest theater still playing it was in Las Vegas. Classic Erika. Truly a friend you could not turn your back on while shopping unless you wanted an incredibly thoughtful present or ten.

I love you Erika - my beautiful, kind, and generous friend.  I miss you so much.

Erika you were such a sweet gentle soul with such a big heart. I will miss getting your text, pictures/videos and your stories always brought a smile and made me laugh. I know your fur babies are surly missing you also. 
Your sweet mom, Michelle and brother and to all your family I pray for strength for you all to get thru this sad time. God doesn't give us more than we can handle, the day will come when the memories will bring a smile again. God bless you all.

Erika you were such a sweet kind person! I'll remember our younger days having fun running around the gym together in elementary and middle school, me giggling about boys and our laughter! Later seeing you become good friends with my friend Savannah was awesome because, I remember thinking oh cool Savannah and Erika are friends! I even remember bringing a picture of my cousin to school who happened to look just like you, and you said where did you get that picture of me, and I said that's not you that's my cousin, I said don't y'all look alike and we just laughed and you kept saying no really that's me isn't it and I kept saying no that's my cousin that's not you. After that we always joked that maybe if my cousin and you look so much alike that maybe somehow we were related LOL. I hope you are smiling down on everyone in heaven, and that your loved ones and family will have the Lords comfort during this difficult time! - Norma Tobias
