Elsie Lee Richardson

Elsie Lee Richardson, 83 of Tucson, Arizona was born in Grand Bayou, Louisiana on November 4, 1929, born the sixth of fourteen children to the union of Lenard Keith Sr. and Mary Ellen (Solomon) Keith.

She moved to Shreveport, Louisiana and lived there until 1979 where she and her husband Emmett raised their five children. After death of her husband she moved to Oakland, California to be near her many siblings. She moved to Tucson in 2005 after suffering an illness to live with her daughter and son-in-law until her death.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, husband Emmett , two sons Emmett Earl and Louis, six sisters, three bothers. To cherish her precious memory, she leaves two sisters , two brothers, two daughters Mary Payton (husband Robert), Tonnette Richardson, son Otis Richardson(wife Jessica), eight grandchildren, two great grand and one great great grand. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will cherish her memory and the precious gift of her life.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 7 from 5 to 7 PM at Funeraria Del Angel on 7 E. University Blvd, and also on Tuesday January 8, 2013 from 11 to 11 :30 AM at Grace Temple Baptist Church on 1020 E. 31st St., with a Funeral Service to follow at the same place. Interment immediately after at south Lawn Cemetery.
