Donald T. Thompson entered into eternal peace August 20, 2015. He was born August 21, 1925 in Malden, Mass. He is survived by his children, Donald Jr. (Linda), Beverly Kirchoffner (Terry), Patricia Ratliff and William (Sara); 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara; his daughter, Doreen and his son-in-law David. He moved his family to Tucson in 1958 to be a printer for the Tucson newspapers. He retired from the U of A as a painter. He loved woodworking and loved sharing his work with others. Services to be held Saturday, August 29th at 9:30am at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Rd. In lieu of flowers the family suggests you may like to make donations to your favorite charity.
