September 10, 1924 Donald began a new journey with God on April 27, 2016. He passed peacefully at home with his beloved Inge by his side. That is where she has been for 66 years. Donald retired from the United States Army after 22 years. He was a World War II veteran and a survivor of the "Battle Of The Bulge". During his military career he earned the "Purple Heart," "Bronze Star" And "Air Medal," among Others. Donald enjoyed playing Poker and loved the friends he made while playing. Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Inge; daughter, Tina Reece; grandsons, Justin Reece and Trevor Espinosa; his brother, Melvin (Helen) Reece; nephew, Glen Reece; niece, Vickie Reece and great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2016 at East Lawn Palms Mortuary at 5801 East Grant.
