Dawn Beverly West

Dawn Beverly West was born on October 17th, 1941 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and went home to Heaven on November 5th, 2022 at age 81 in Tucson, Arizona. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Dawn was born to Roy Gilbert Sr. and Mollie Adeline Spece who preceded her in death. She married Carroll “Bill” Lykirkus West who preceded her in death on April 12, 2020. Dawn is survived by her daughter Natalie Baker, grandsons Brandon and Bradley Baker, siblings Roy Spece Jr. and Richard Spece, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Dawn graduated from Tulsa University with a master's degree in Counseling, always working to help families and children.

To Dawn, the most important aspects of her life were her faith in God and love for her family. Dawn will be laid to rest on November 17th, 2022 at East Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. This will be a private event for the family. A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held on Saturday November 19th from 2pm to 4pm at East Tucson Baptist Church where Dawn served for several decades.
