David F. Beatty

David F. Beatty of Tucson, AZ was born May 30, 1935 in Milltown, New Jersey, son of Joseph and Marie Beatty. Married Agnes (Reed) on December 17, 1955 in New Jersey. Died July 14, 2010 with his wife by his side.

He had four children. Daughter Pam Lucassen from the Netherlands, husband Frans and their daughters Rebecca (Matthijs), Mandy (son Delano) and Brenda. Son Joe from San Diego, CA and partner Alex. Daughter Theresa Batchelor from Rockford, IL, husband John and their daughters Shanon Johnson (Kurt Davidson) and their children Luke, Lauryn, Lucas and Delaney, Jen (Mark) Ritchie and their children Taylor, Carson and Emma. Son Bob from Rockford, IL, wife Shelley and their children Colin, Madison and Sydney.

Served in the Navy from 1953-1957 during the Korean War. In 1956 he made Naples, Italy home until he was discharged from the navy in 1957. After the Navy, he started his career in California with the Cal-Ink Company. In 1966 he moved to Canada to work for Tenneco. In 1974 he moved his family to Maastricht, Netherlands to work for Colortrend. Later in 1980 he moved to Rockford, IL to work for Valspar where he then retired. Finally in 1988 he made the move to Tucson, AZ where he and his wife had vacationed many times and loved. They decided to open their own photography business called Alpha Photo. Later he spent time working for Clear Channel.

His hobbies included model trains, photography and the circus. He hand made many circus wagons from prints that he created himself. He loved to read and had a wonderful den full of books wherever he lived.

He will be missed by all who knew him.
