Daniel Cardenas Lopez

Daniel Cardenas Lopez, age 25, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. Daniel was born May 22nd 1998 to Richard Rios Lopez and Christina Cardenas Lopez, both of whom survive their son.

Daniel was one of five children, and is further survived by his sisters and brothers Stephanie Lopez, Richard Lopez Jr., Thalia Lopez, and Roman Lopez, and his brother-in-law and sister-in law, and step-sisters. Daniel is survived as well by his cherished nephews whom he truly loved. Daniel had two grandmothers, many uncles, a tia, many cousins and many friends who survive him. Daniel is survived as well by his beloved girlfriend.

Daniel loved playing baseball and basketball, favoring the Boston. He enjoyed working out and was passionate about fitness. He loved watching movies, and listening to music, and above all else loved to share these activities with his family and friends. Daniel is fondly remembered for his loyalty and devotion to his family.

Daniel's absence is acutely felt by those who loved him and those he loved. His memory will be cherished in their hearts as his community mourns his passing.

A visitation for Daniel will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S Stone Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
