Our beloved Mother and Grandmother - Conception “Connie” Jaramillo passed away peacefully on February 9, 2017 at her Tucson, Arizona home. Connie was born on September 9, 1932 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Mariano and Carmen Martinez, one of ten children. Connie was the last of the Martinez children to join their parents in heaven.

Connie was married to Locadio Jaramillo for fifty years prior to his death in 2003. Together they lovingly raised four daughters, Marsha (Sergio), Aliza (Noel), Catherine, Jessica and John Joseph, who passed shortly after his birth in 1971. Connie taught her daughters the importance of faith, family, education, community service while having a profession. Connie had at a long career as nurse. Nana Connie’s grandchildren, Cassandra (Greg), Enrique, Jaime, Noah, Selina, Giana, Amanda and her great-grandson, James each shared a special, loving relationship with their Nana; enjoyed her support at sports, school and community events. Connie was also an Aunt, Sister- In-Law, Godmother, Friend and Role Model to many.

Connie served Saint John’s the Evangelist Catholic Church as a Catechist, Eucharistic Minister and taught instruction in baptism, RCIA and led a weekly Bible class.

Connie’s legacy of love, kindness and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to St. John’s Church in honor of Connie’s devotion to our Lady of Guadalupe.
