Chester Volle, CMSGT (Retired, Air Force) passed away on May 27th, 2014. Born on November 4th, 1922 to Floy and Walter Volle, in Summerfield Kansas. He is survived by his wife Peggy, son Carter (Virginia), daughters Miok Humme (Mike) and Annette, sister Katherine Joyce Gates, five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He joined the Army Air Corp in 1939 at the age of 17. A decorated veteran of WWII, the Korean War, and The Vietnam War, he proudly served his country for 33 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he and his family moved to Tucson Arizona where he worked for TUSD from 1973 to 1987. He loved his country, his family, traveling, fishing, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by those who forever will hold him dearly in their hearts.
Visitation/Viewing service will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, Tuesday, June 3, from 6-7 pm.
Funeral services will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary, Wednesday, June 4th, from 10 - 11 am. Graveside will follow immediately with full Military Air Force Honor Guard.
