Charles David Jones

Charles was married to the late Mary Elizabeth Shropshire on July 26th, 1955. This union was blessed with the birth of two daughters, Angela R. Owens, and Cheryl D. Jones; one adopted son, Andraé L. Jones; three grandsons, Jonathan Owens, Ricardo Barrow Jr, Devante Love; and a granddaughter, Amanda Jones; and three great grandchildren, Amelia Barrow, Reina Rose Barrow, Desmond Barrow.

He also leaves to cherish his memories two brothers Robert (Judy) (Spring Lake, North Carolina), Richard (Ansena) (Cartersville, Georgia); a devoted First Cousin, Jeannie Carter, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was retired from the United States Army Security Agency and The State of Arizona.

The sleepless nights have passed,

The many days of pain are long gone,

The every patient worn out frame,

Final safe at home.

On the 17th, of November 2020, Jesus saw that the road was getting rough, the hills were becoming harder and harder to climb.

The Lord gently closed Charles’ eyes and whispered, “Peace be Thine”.
