After celebrating 61 years of life, our family lost a loving wife and loving mother.
The daughter of the late Wash Morgan and Florence Morgan, she went on to be with the Lord
peacefully in her sleep on May 15, 2020. She leaves behind her memories to cherish her family
that she loved so much; namely, Roy Lee Perkins, (HB), Brandon Lee Roy Perkins, (son), and
Austin Taylor Lamar Perkins, (son). Catherine is survived by 5 sisters, 7 brothers
and a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins and relatives.
Catherine graduated from Pueblo High School and attended Pima College. Throughout her life,
she worked for several businesses including fighting forest fires for hot spots, Burr Brown and
Texas Instruments as a test floor operator, and RPC Reprocessing Products Corporation making
parts for kidney dialysis machines. With each position, Catherine truly loved her work.
Catherine loved to travel and also made sure we attended our son's games in Silver City and
Las Cruces, New Mexico. So determined not to miss our son's games, when I couldn't make it
she drove herself - that was her love! Catherine was also a better fisherman than all three of us;
it was always whoever caught the first fish, the rest had to pay up.
I could go on and on with sharing so many memories.
Catherine was a member of Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church. God bless her, she will truly be missed!
