Carolyn M. Sansevere passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, February 14, 2021, having recently battled lung cancer. She survived one day past her 70th birthday to spend Valentine's Day with her beloved husband and children.
Carolyn was born to Daniel Conroy and Carmella (Maietti) Conroy on February 13, 1951 in Hoboken, New Jersey. She was married to her grade school sweetheart David Sansevere on July 15th, 1972. She would later live in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, but always considered Secaucus, New Jersey--where she raised her children--to be her home. She was a school lunch aide and bus driver for the Secaucus Board of Education before retiring to Tucson, Arizona for her golden years.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her sisters Mildred Vega, Roseann Fallon, Lucretia Smith, and Agnes Gwinnett. She is survived by her husband David, and children Samantha and husband Nohl Lyons, Danielle, David Jr., Patrick Sansevere and wife Christine, as well as four grandchildren, Finn and Cara Lyons, and Landon and Avery Sansevere. Carolyn is also survived by her brothers Michael, Thomas, and Daniel Conroy Sr., in addition to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
