Carmen Munoz

Carmen was born to Enrique and Eduvijes Munoz on July 14, 1959 in Fabens, Texas. She lived in Las Cruces. NM most of her life to Tucson, AZ in November 1996.

Carmen was a strong, independent single mother who showed her daughters the importance of obtaining and possessing those same qualities. She loved sharing her wisdom and knowledge with everyone she met, even if it was not what they wanted to hear. Her home and heart were always open for anyone who was in need. Her family and friends held a special place in her heart, but her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Carmen was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Enrique Munoz, her sister, Maggie Lopez, and her younger brother, Gabriel Munoz. She is survived by her mother, Eduvijes Munoz, her older sister, Yolanda Flores, and her two brothers, Manuel and Robert Munoz.

Furthermore, she has three daughters: Gina Munoz, Christina Munoz & Jeffrey Hartje (future son in law) and Crystal Serrato.

She has three granddaughters: Marissa Munoz, Amaiah Cruz and Mia Thomas, and four grandsons: Isaiah Cruz, Jeremiah Serrato, Philip Thomas and Mikey Peru.

A memorial service will be held on March 8, 2019 at 4 pm at the Funeraria Del Angel, which is located at 7 E. University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85705. Flowers and donations would be greatly appreciated and accepted.
