Bryce William Taylor, born August 8th in Tucson, AZ., passed away June 12th 2023 in Tucson surrounded by his loving family. Bryce was born to Timothy R. Taylor and Marilyn J. Taylor, both of whom survive their son. Bryce was the youngest of two children, and is further survived by his sister Lyndsey W. Espinoza (Taylor) and brother in-law Alejandro M. Espinoza; his maternal grandparents Helen L. and Kenneth L Potucek; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Bryce is survived by the one true love of his life, Susie E. King; the pair have been together for 1 and a half years, and known one another for many more.
Bryce was a man who could make anyone laugh, and was everyone's friend. He was well known and well liked through a broad and diverse community, and touched many lives. In his professional life, Bryce channeled this spirit into service for others and held many positions: University of Arizona Concessions, Camp Counselor at Camp Mishawaka, Teaching Assistant for the JCC, Floor Trainer and Lifeguard Instructor at JCC, and Physical Therapy Technician with APEX.
Bryce brought his interminable spirit to everything he did, in employment and beyond. He was passionate about hiking, pole fitness, caring for animals, and spending time with family and friends, and shopping at Costco. He was an accomplished Eagle Scout, and was a Delegate for Boy Scouts of America in 2016 for the Report of the Nation, having met the then-president and honored in the Oval Office.
Bryce will be fondly remembered for his many jokes and stories, for his bright spirit and determined nature. Bryce will be dearly missed by all those who had the incredible opportunity to know him, and deeply mourned by all those he loved and who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Courtney's Courage, for Dr. Katsanis to assist in his research of pediatric cancer treatments (information may be found below).
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared for the family on Bryce's memorial page.
