Brad was a "one in a million" person who made those around him feel like they were, "one in a million", inturn. I'll always remember you.

I met Brad in Yuma and worked with him at dominos, He was the best friend i had there. He helped me through some rough times, He was the first person to hold my 5th child when she was born, lol he was so scared. I will never forget how much he helped me in the times i needed someone so bad. All my children called him uncle Brad. My girls will never forget him either. I still hear his laugh and will never forget it. I am so sorry and he is truly missed. God Bless

Brad was a really great friend to me in high school. He was always happy and fun to be with. He was genuinely a kind hearted person. I ran into Brad a few years ago, I believe he was working at Home Depot. Anyway, he hadn't seemed to change much over the years. Still had that big smile and the sparkle in his eyes. It was so wonderful to have gotten to see him again. When I think about high school Brad is always one of my first memories, and one of my fondest. To Brads family; I am so sorry for your loss. Your son was a wonderful person and will be missed by all whose lives he touched. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.

I don't know how to begin.  This news has come as a shock, Brad was my first love and to this day has a piece of my heart. I know how sad I feel from his loss as I have many very fond memories.   I feel so bad for his daughter and his mother both of whom I know he loved dearly and know that his loss can never be replaced.  I wish there was something I could say that would comfort everyone but somehow words do not seem adequate. 

I got out my old album of our time together and am so saddened that his life ended so short.  May the Johnson family know that Brad touched many lives in a positive way and will never be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the Jonhson family. Brad was my friend, I remember him always smiling and cheering everybody Its really sad to hear he's not with us anymore. My thoughts and prayers are with the Jonhson family.

My heart and prayers go out to all of Brad's family and loved ones.  I knew Brad as a child as his brother Scott and my brother Jeff were best friends growing up.  By default Brad and I also became good friends.  It was an odd friendship in that we were very competitive.  There is nothing we would do that did not involve competing and mostly for money.  Lucky for me I came out the winner almost always.  For everyone who knew Brad as a kid you can imagine this didn't go over well with him.  My funniest memory is when we rode our bikes up the street to putt putt golf (for money of course and once again I won).  Brad got so mad he punched me in the mouth.  He forgot he was also holding a golf ball in his hand at the time.  I ran off crying and jumped on my bike to ride home.  Here's the funny part.  Brad chased after me screaming he was sorry and that I could have his "Short People" record.  Of course we made up and even after that he continued to let me take his hard earned money. I was fortunate to see Brad again after more then 20 years at my parents 50th anniversary party last year and he still had that same contagious smile and somewhat shy demeanor.  He stood up and toasted my parents with similar childhood stories and I am so glad I had that chance to connect with him as an adult.  Everyone who had the honor of knowing Brad at any time in his life is very lucky.

My uncle brad was the most special uncle in the world. Because he always came over and played with my brother and me. We would play x box games, go swimming and watch TV. On special weekends he would even let us sleep over at his house. When we would sleep over we played his x box game. Before we played we would have dinner. One time I remember we were at a baseball game (sidewinders) and a foul ball came next to the fence and he tried to catch the ball and the ball almost hit him and by trying to catch it he flipped over the fence. We had so many good times I cant even count how many times we have laughed together. I will always keep him in my prayers and I just want to say I love him.

I have a hard time knowing that things were bothering Brad.To me, he was a happy-go-lucky kind of guy.His smile was so comforting.As i would drive into the parking lot at work, id always look to see if his truck was there,because i always looked forward to working along side of him.He made us laugh.Not to long ago he came to work and was mad about the schedule. Even though he was mad he still had a smile. I told him"Brad, If it makes it better,You look very cute when your mad."Its true, no matter his feeling he always could give off that smile and cheer.I will miss him.He was known at work as THE BRADSTER. I will kept his family in my prayers.Hannah means "Grace Of God" and i trully believe in her we can enjoy the little things in life that Brad has left for us to enjoy.Brads life continues to live through Hannah....

Brad was such a special person.  He was a huge influence on me during my formative years and I will be eternally grateful for him.  The world will not be the same without him.  I feel very fortunate to have known him.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To Brad's family and friends,

We knew Brad as a young boy, a young man, and a mature man.  He was so pleasant and polite as a youngster that it was great to have him around.  He spent much time at our house and we got to know him well; especially in the earlier years.  My dearly departed dad loved Brad, because he loved to tease him.  My dad's greatest joy was teasing someone, and in Brad he found someone special because he could always 'get his goat', so to speak.  He called Brad "Blue".  Brad would get all red faced, yet stand there and smile.

And it was always fun to watch Brad and our daughter, Heidi, play games.  Brad got flustered more often than not, because she usually won.  In spite of her seemingly winning in their many competitions, they were quite close friends.

Brad was someone special to us.  We loved him, and loved having him around.  His smile was like light.  He became important in our lives, and will remain so in our hearts.

Brad was a friend to all of us. We used to joke with him and say 'Hi, I am Brad and I am a nice guy!" And he truely was. There is nothing he would not have done for anyone. He was always there to help those of us at work when needed and not asked for. He felt bad when things took so long and he was not able to finish his job before going home and would come in the next day early to finish up. He was always joking with you. He kept an air of light heartedness and cheer when he was around.

We all must go sometime and it is always hard. Brad was taken too soon and will be missed dearly.

Dearest Johnson family,

I knew Brad from Palo Verde High School. We had several classes together, but photo class is where I really got to know him. To hear of his passing has left me heartborken and praying for peace and comfort for all of you. Brad was one of the "Big" good ole guys. His smile always made you feel comfortable and just to be around him made every one feel good!!!! He really had a way of doing that. Despite all the sports he played and his popularity, he still showed kindness to all and we all loved him for it!!!!! I am just so, so sad and sending both my love and prayers. Tracy Clark

My deepest condolences to all of the Johnson family and the extended family and friends.  Brad was one of the co-workers and friend that carried the light at the PO; he was a light bearer!  He was always spreading cheer, positive energy and smiles to us at work!  Be confident in Knowing; "For we walk by faith, not by sight":, II Cor 5:7  and that to be absent in body is to be present with the Lord!  II Cor 5:8 And be comforted in the scripture; For the Lord himself shall decend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the arch angel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:   I Thes 4:16
I am greatful to God for allowing me to have had the honor of knowing Brad!

I don't think anyone who went to high school with Brad was not affected by his smile.  He was so warm and always happy.  It breaks my heart to hear that hear that he is gone.  No parent should know how it feels to lose a child.  Please know, Brad was very special and loved by many.

I knew Brad from the Post Office.  He was such a big presence of gentle friendliness and good humor, always a joy to have around and work with.  He was always a person you were glad to see, one who lightened a hard day.  What a gift that was.
   I have appreciated his touch in our lives at Ft Lowell PO and am so grieved to learn of his premature death.  I hope the Johnson family can be comforted by the great wonderful memories we have of him.You are in my thoughts and prayers for relief from the pain of his loss.  Maggie Wharton

I knew Brad for many years from our Pizza Hut family.  He was a big Teddy Bear with a big warming smile.  Sad to hear his life had ended.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Hannah and the rest of the Johnson family.

I knew Brad from PVHS and played sports with him. He was always a high spirited person and and his smile was contageous.He will truly be missed. My best to his family and friends.

I met Brad in high school and he was just about the nicest guy ever. I wasn't nice to him, yet when I had a flat tire, he ever so sweetly came to my rescue and changed it for me. The world has lost a wonderful man, I will be praying for your family as you mourn your loss.

I had recently met Brad through coaching Hannah and was truly blessed by knowing him. It was great sharing the joy of sports and the desire for our children to excel.  We will miss his cheering and encouragement and we  will continue to play hard in memory of Brad.  Our prayers are with Hannah and all of Brad's family.

I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. My heart goes out to Brad's family. I met Brad in Jr. High and then we went to High School together. He was always so nice and fun to be around. I will surely miss him.

Ive known Brad since 1985, I married his best freind Dan and he was our best man. I just recently caught up with him last year as our daughters play sports together. He was such a sweetheart, I was so happy to be in touch again and so sad he is gone. My heart goes out to Hannah and Sybil, I will pray for you and the whole family. I believe God always has a plan and we must put our trust in Him, even when things dont make sense.

We just wanted to say how sorry we are for your loss. I was brads neighbor for 11years and he will be missed.
