I have so many fond memories of Aunt Betty. I always looked forward to her visits as a kid because she would always show up with crayons and activity books. She would stop at the gas station if we went some where and get Kelly and I one of those red patties w the peanuts in them or even a pickled pigs foot lol. I don’t think there was anything she couldn’t do. She was definitely the fun cool Aunt. She was always close to my mom Anna Branson so she was a regular part of my life growing up and at holidays when we would all get together. Rest In Peace beautiful Lady. You will always be in my heart. ❤️

This is tough!! Betty was a big part of my growing up! She was the seamstress for my families dry cleaner (Comet Cleaners) and I grew up right next to her! Always bugging her by going into her office and bugging her to help me make paper airplanes (She taught me how to make my first paper airplane) so I could fly them all over the stores!! I will never forget her for that and the many more memories growing up with her my mom and grandma in that old oracle and ina store! She is in a better/healthier place now and I know she can climb up on the seamstress tables to fly the paper airplanes even higher now!!

Betty was married to my adopted dad when I was very young. When they divorced, he left but she never did. She went to my mom and asked if she could still keep visitation and seeing me because she thought of me as her own daughter.  There are not many people who would want that after a divorce, but I am glad she was one of the. 
When I was graduating high school, I asked her if I could  come live with her,  and she welcomed me with open arms. She loved to go to Bingo at the casino and eat Indian tacos with me.  We had a lot of fun when I lived with her. She was a wonderful seamstress, she had me help her with a wedding dress once that took us a month to hand bead the bodice with seed beads. . . it was then i told her I was not cut out for that work! 
She always had a way of explaining things and people that I just understood. She was an amazing woman, stubborn and strong and sometime a mess, and I will miss her so much. I am grateful for the chance I had to grow up with her, and all the family I gained by being her daughter. I miss her, but I am so glad she is not in pain anymore. Rest easy B, we will all see you again one day.  I love you. 





I will remember the times Betty and I would go to Jerry Bobs and eat lunch. We stopped many times at the I Hop and had french toast with bananas,strawberries and whipped cream.  She taught me so much in alterations. I am now doing them in my home at Minnesota. Will be missed very much because I would call her and say Betty what should I charge for doing this. Love you Betty
