Arnold Lucero Montiel, age 83, passed away on December 21, 2022. He was born on January 13, 1939 in Bisbee, AZ., to Manuel Montiel and Maria de los Angeles Barcelo. He loved to sing and played guitar. Tacos were his favorite. Preceded in death by his Parents; Manuel Montiel and Maria de los Angeles Barcelo. He is survived by his Spouse; Juanita P. Montiel; Children; Angie Ormsby, Delfina Colon, Arnold Montiel Jr., Sylvia Scott, Gabriel Montiel, Vincent Montiel and numerous Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
A visitation for Arnold will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A rosary service will occur Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706. A funeral service will occur Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 507 W. 29th St., Tucson, AZ 85713.
