Armando David Moreno aka David Armando Moreno, 74, departed this life on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at his home in Tucson, Arizona. David was born March 24th, 1946 to Manuel and Herminia (Quiroga) Moreno in Nogales, Arizona, the 7th oldest of 12 children. He graduated from Patagonia Union High School in 1965.
David served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era as a E5 Sergeant. He met his beautiful wife, Mary Noriega, and they married in 1987 in Tucson, Arizona.
David began his career at Anamax Mining Company and soon after shutting down he began a long career working at Hughes Missile Systems which then became Raytheon. He worked there for 25 years until his retirement in 2010. David loved to spend time with his family, fur babies, and friends. He was actively involved in hunting, watching the news, debates, sports, Facebook, and collecting change.
David is survived by his loving daughter, Mary Ann Limones; son David Manuel Moreno Jr.; his fur babies Minnie, Ginger, Gueda, and Bonnie, as well as, Chiquita, Petunia, Puter, Jason, Sam, White Paws, Daisy, Bobo, Roscoe, Max, Clyde, Harry, Smokey, and Jacob; brothers, Alejandro (Theresa) Bejarano, Enrique (Rosalba), and Jose; sisters, Irene (Rupert) Bejarano, Romelia (Gilbert) Patino, Eva, Adriana (Roy) Delahanty, and Ofrecia; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. David is preceded in death by the love of his life Mary Noriega and son Caesar Jesus “Chuy”, parents Manuel and Herminia Moreno, maternal and paternal grandparents, and sisters Maria Elena (Trinidad) Cota, Delia (George) Wolfe, and Sylvia Burrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org, American Heart Association at heart.org, and St John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
