Anne E. DiMeo

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved mother, Anne DiMeo, on September 5, 2023. She enjoyed a wonderful life of 104 years and is survived by her daughters Donna Gray (husband Lawrence Gray, deceased) and Judy DiMeo, grandchildren Stacie Ivey, Toby Gray (Lisa Gray) and Lee Bolli (deceased), great grandchildren Orion Gray (24), Karenna Sandoval (22), Aidan Sandoval (20), and Alynn Gray (16), and great great grandchild Ember Sky Gray (6). Anne was married to her late husband, James V. DiMeo for 54 years and they were both originally from Pittsburgh, PA, born to immigrant Italian families. Anne and James moved to Tucson, AZ in 1983. Anne was a homemaker who loved her family, children, cooking and cleaning. She worked various jobs on the side before retirement, including the school cafeteria in Pittsburgh and the ElDorado Hospital gift shop for many years as a volunteer in Tucson. Her Italian cooking was spectacular, including her homemade gnocchis, sauce, meatballs, spaghetti, and Italian cookies. Anne was the longest contributing member of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, giving monthly donations since 1981. She will be missed by so many friends and family.
