She was born August 11, 1963, in San Antonio, TX, daughter of Alfonso G. Salazar and Ana E. (Jaime) Brow. She was preceded in death by her grandparents (Valentine and Maria Salazar; and Jose and Amada Jaime) and two uncles (Antonio Jaime and Frank Jaime).
In addition to her parents, surviving are one beloved sister Genevieve Salazar of Houston, TX and two beloved brothers, Arnold J. Salazar also of Houston and Al Salazar (Becky James Salazar, sister-in-law, and Angelina Marie Salazar, niece) of Topango, CA. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Edwina Rivera, a sister-in-law Beatrice Rivera, and a niece, Valerie Ann Palmer. Additionally, she was survived by her step-father, Kenneth A. Brow of Lexington, VA, and two step-sisters, Kathleen S. Jones of Roanoke, VA, and Teresa J. Valentine of Frederick, MD. Also surviving are three uncles, three aunts and thirty-four cousins.
At an early age the family moved to Olney, MD. Anna Marie graduated from the Magruder High School and then attended the Georgia Tech University, Atlanta, GA, where she graduated as a Ceramic Engineer. She worked for several companies and traveled the world. The only continent that she did not visit was Antarctica yet she had plans for that trip. She was an engineer at Syncardia, Tucson, AZ.
A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Hilda G. Paucitis, O.M., at 10:00 a.m. on October 22, 2012, in the Chapel at the East Lawns Palms Mortuary, 5801 E. Grant Road, Tucson, AZ. Another memorial service will be held in Olney, MD, on October 27.
