Anna Marie Jackson passed peacefully on February 17, 2016 in Tucson, Arizona. She had just celebrated her 85th birthday on February 13th. Born in 1931 in Pennsylvania, Anna dedicated the majority of her life to studying and performing music through piano and organ as well as singing. She was a military wife and an administrative professional who celebrated 62 years of marriage to her husband, Jesse G. Jackson, who passed in 2013. Anna loved socializing and had a personality that could liven up any atmosphere. Anna is survived by her sister, Margaret Gemerchak; her daughter, Peggy (Daryl) Lindsey; her son, John (Melissa) Jackson; her grandchildren, Aaron Saucedo, Adrian Saucedo, Candace Jackson, John R. Jackson, Elizabeth Lindsey, Kayla Lindsey, Joseph Lindsey, Carly Lindsey, Chloe Lindsey, Sarah Lindsey and her great grandchildren, Vincent Sauced, Jesse Saucedo, Bradlee Kaeser, Blake Tyner, Samuel Saucedo and AJ Saucedo. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at East Lawn Palms Mortuary. Anna will then be laid to rest with Jesse at the Southern Arizona’s Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Sierra Vista.
