Zachary Pagoaga, 24, of Lawrenceville, GA, beloved brother, son, grandson, cousin and friend passed away April 8, 2021. Zach was born in Atlanta, GA on February 20, 1997 to Maria McHugh and Carlos Pagoaga. He is the proud big brother to Caroline McHugh Pagoaga and Joseph William (Will) Pagoaga. Zach graduated from Brookwood High School class of 2015 and attended Georgia College and State University before graduating from the University of Georgia in 2020 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the Terry College of Business. His gregarious personality and big smile enabled him to make friends everywhere he went. He inherited his love of travel from his late grandfather William McHugh Jr. In 2018 Zach spent a semester in Paris which enabled him to travel throughout Europe and he dreamed of returning someday. Zach had a passion for all sports, especially football. A perfect weekend for Pags would be watching his beloved Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday and the Falcons on Sunday surrounded by his roommates and friends. He enjoyed spending time and making memories with family in the Florida Keys, Hilton Head and Lake Hartwell. Zach was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Epsilon Upsilon Chapter, and he treasured his fraternity brothers friendship. Zach dearly loved his aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his mother Maria and father Carlos, sister Caroline and brother Will, his loving dogs Winston and Cooper, his precious grandparents Kay McHugh, Jose Pagoaga and Maria Pagoaga, uncles Bill McHugh III (Susie) and Jose Pagoaga Jr (Karen), aunts Ana Crowe (Dan), Laura McHugh, Beth McHugh, Chris Gray (Michael), cousins Michael McHugh (Kathleen), Patrick McHugh (Jamie), Kate McHugh, Jonathan Goldsmith, Michael Patrick Gray, Liam Gray, Devon Pagoaga, Michael Pagoaga (Lauren) , Melissa Pagoaga, Colin Crowe, Declan Crowe, and Hunter Crowe. He is predeceased by his grandfather Daddy Bill (William McHugh Jr.) and we find great comfort knowing they are together, looking after all of us. Memorial Mass will be on Friday, April 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3175 Hathaway Ct, Atlanta, GA 30341.
