Thomas H Capps, 83 died Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Gwinnett Medical Center, in Lawrenceville, GA. He was surrounded by his family who loved and cherished him deeply. Thomas was a long time resident of DeKalb County and was the founder of Capps TV Service in Atlanta. Thomas and his wife, Helen, resided in Bethlehem for the past several years. Thomas served in the US Army during the Korean conflict, having served on the Korean peninsula as well as in the US. He served as an infantry soldier. Together with his beloved wife Helen, they recently celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary.
Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen Marie Capps. His sons, Stanley Neal Capps; Joseph Murl Capps and his wife, Elisabeth; Thomas Earl Capps and his wife, Melinda. His grandchildren, Kathryn, Cody, Mark and Jeanne. His great-grandchildren, Brianne, Ashton, Logan and Victoria. His brother, John Capps and sister Dian Cross. His nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Thomas’ life will be held at 11:00 o’clock, Saturday, September 8, 2012, in the Chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA., 30084. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 o’clock, Friday evening, September 7, 2012, at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment for Thomas will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
