Kenyada was born July 29, 1978 in Detroit, Michigan to Roberta Jean Cornwell and Steven Alexander Sr. She was the oldest of four children. Kenyada was educated in the McNair High School System in Georgia.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Those who knew her well knew that she loved life, music, family and a good plate or two of food. She also enjoyed riding to see houses, going to the movies and ending a great day wearing her bonnet and going to bed at 8:00 pm sharp. On the weekends, she enjoyed watching cartoons with her nephew Adrian.
More importantly, she loved Jehovah. Kenyada was actively studying the Bible to become one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. As such, she was able to hold on to positive promises for her future of life here on a paradise earth.
Revelation 21: 4 reads – ‘And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.’
Kenyada understood that even if she faced death, Jehovah God would remember her and longed to restore the life of those He considered His friend. Job 14:15 states that when earthly conditions are restored, He “will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hand.” Learning these Bible truths encouraged Kenyada to make several positive changes in her life.
She is survived by her father Steven Alexander Sr, mother Roberta Cornwell and stepfather Chris Cornwell, stepfamily Jennifer Pritchett, Cameron Pritchett, Cohen Pritchett and Jeff Cornwell, son Marcus Harris and granddaughter Marlee Harris, brothers Patrick Alexander, Steven Alexander Jr and Charles Alexander, sister Carmella Alexander Willis and Arness Willis, nephews Amir Willis and Adrian Willis.
