Mr. John Milton Davis passed away on September 30, 2021 at the age of 75. He was Born on September 4, 1946 to Sarah & Milton Davis. He is the second eldest of his mother’s nine children. John was affectionately known as “Bo” to his family and close friends. He grew up in Scottdale, Georgia with his mother, stepfather, and his siblings. He worked with his stepfather as a painter for many years. He later married and had one son who died in infancy.
John served for about five years with a non-profit organization feeding the hungry and helping families in the Atlanta community. He gave back to others on his journey for a better life turning his pain into purpose. He joined St. Paul Baptist Church at an early age, and later moved his membership to the Lynwood Park Church of God in Christ along with his family.
John was preceded in death by his infant son, his mother, father, stepfather, and two of his brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory, two brothers, Mr. & Mrs. Charles H. Davis (Cookie) and Mr. Charles L. Wright; four sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Collie Peters (Dorothy), Ms. Sharon A. Wright, Mr. & Mrs. Thomas Tate, Jr. (Brenda) and Mr. & Mrs. James Williams (Deborah); and a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and other relatives and friends.
