James Joseph Wilson, age 78, passed away on Friday, April 29th at his home. Born July 9, 1943, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Frazier Wilson. He attended Tucker High School, graduating in 1961. He received an Associate in Science Degree in Building Construction from Southern Technical Institute in Marietta, GA. JJ was a self-employed home builder and developer. Later he and his wife owned an interior design business. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Wilson of Marietta, GA, his son Scott Wilson and wife Jenifer of Greensboro, GA, his daughter Martiele McCorvey Pickle of Bainbridge GA, his grandchildren Dylan Wilson, Kaci Wilson, and Mackenzie Pickle, and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Wilson; his mother, Catherine Frazier Wilson; and his sister, Christine Wilson Cain.
