He was born in Acworth, Georgia, the son of the late Thomas Hoyt and Matilda Abernathy Morris.
Jimmy was a Sales Administrator for IBM.
He was a longtime member of Tucker First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, David and Barbara Morris of Tucker, Tom and Lynn Morris of Duluth, and Bob and Suzanne Morris of Tucker; his sisters, Daisy Hall, Betty Mooney, and Sue Arnold; his granddaughters, Sarah Jane Morris, Anna Elizabeth Morris, and Carol Wild and his special friend, Sarah Cann.
Celebration of Life on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 4:00 pm at Tucker First United Methodist Church. Visitation one hour prior to the service.
