Helen Marie Capps

August 13, 2023, Helen Marie Capps (Middlebrooks), 88, of Bethlehem, GA, passed away surrounded by her son Neal, son Joe and wife Elisabeth, son Earl and wife Melinda, and granddaughter Kathryn Bitterman.

Helen was married 58 wonderful years to Thomas, who preceded her in death. They were married in 1954 in Atlanta, GA. They called Crestline Drive home for approximately 38 years before moving to Barrow County.

Helen worked in accounting before retiring. She loved spending time with her family. She was blessed with eight grandchildren; Jeanne Nehring, Mark Capps, Kathryn Bitterman, Cody Capps, Ana, Betsy, Emily, Jonathan, nineteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Helen loved the Lord with all her heart. Church played an important part in her life; singing in the choir, bible study, and fellowship.

Helen also loved to garden. She had beautiful flowers, grew vegetables, and enjoyed canning with her son Neal.

Helen is survived by her sister Juanita Barrett, and predeceased by parents Bob and Montine Middlebrooks (Ramey), sister Frances Allen, and brother Ralph Ramey.

A visitation for Helen will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
