Francine Barbra Doxen was born May 4th, 1961 at Harlem Hospital in New York City. To the late Donald and Francine Doxen. Francine was the third child born out of five.
A time to accomplish
Francine received her formal education in the New York City public school system. While in George Washington High School, Francine gave birth to her son who is the love of her life, Allen Clifford Walker. Francine didn’t let becoming a teenage mother stop her she went out and received her cosmetology certificate and then went on to become a respiratory therapist.
A time to reverent
Francine exemplified an unconditional love for her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Francine loved going out to different plays and places to eat. She frequently took her oldest grandchild, “Jordan”, to many different events around Atlanta. Francine would also frequent back to her home, New York, to spend time with her other grandchildren, Damien, Anaya, Hunter and Ayden. She loved taking them on boat rides, to the zoo and just intimate bonding moments with them in the hotel room or pool.
A time to die
Francine passed on Tuesday morning June 21st, 2022, at: 11:37 AM. God sent his angel of mercy to quietly remove a beautiful and feisty rose from his mortal garden and bring her to his garden of immortal bliss as the angel ascended into heaven with her. We know our beloved Francine heard the voice of Jesus say come unto me and rest. Lay down weary one and lay thy head down onto my breast.
A time to mourn
Francine left a vacant place in the hearts of her family and friends who love and adore her. Francine leaves behind her son, Allen C Walker; 5 grandchildren, Jordan, Damien, Anaya, Hunter and Ayden; 3 sisters, Donnell, Karen, and Donna; 2 brothers, Donald and Dwayne; 2 uncles, William Davis and Gerald Doxen; 2 aunts, Jacqulin and Vicky; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service for Francine will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084.
