On Wednesday November 12, 2014, David Luther Strickland, age 76, beloved husband of Jenny B. Strickland of 56 years passed away. Loving father of Diane S. Tyler (Gregg), David L. Strickland, Jr., Susan S. Brister (Stuart). He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Chad and Steve Tyler, Mitchell and Morgan Brister, his brothers, Hubert A. Strickland (Barbara), William M. Strickland (Mary Beth), loving family and friends.
A Memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2 p.m., Briarlake Baptist Church, 3715 Lavista Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A private burial will be held at a later date.
