He was born May 9, 1947 in Oxford, MS, the oldest son of the late Tom and Eva (Jefcoat) Romano of Atlanta, GA.
Dan is survived by his lifetime partner of 28 years Lyn King Brabham, brother Ken Romano (Alice), sister Nancy Matthews (Bill), nieces Brittany Matthews Wright (Glenn), Hallie Matthews Rahn (Jason), Megan Matthews Davis (Hal), Jill Romano (Jeff), Cassy Romano (Leo), nephew Chad Romano (Hannah), and eight great nieces and nephews, Macie Rahn, Chase Davis, Florence Romano, Daphne Duenas, Colette Duenas, Margot Danielle Duenas, Jackson Levinge, and Addilyn Levinge,. He also leaves many other beloved Connecticut and Mississippi relatives and dear friends who will sadly miss him.
Dan was very close to his brother Ken and sister Nancy and their children and grandchildren. Dan was generous and sweet in life to his family and loved ones. He was a Texaco accounting manager for over 30 years in Houston. Dan graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration from Georgia State University. Dan was in the Air Force Reserves. He retired happily at age 54 and enjoyed boating and having a beautiful home and garden.
Visitation service will be held Monday October 25, 2021 at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Dr, Spring, TX 77379 from 4 – 7 pm.
Visitation service will be held Friday October 29, 2021 at Floral Hills Funeral Home 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA from 12 noon to 2 pm; Graveside service will be held at same location 2-3 pm.
