Albert John Peetz, 84 of Tucker, GA passed away on July 22, 2014 in Atlanta, GA He worked for Johnson & Johnson in the research department, and had an extensive career as a machinist/ tool and die maker at Floataway Doors and Walker Metal Products before retiring at age 75.
He was a Purple Heart recipient in the Korean War. He was married to the late Lolita Tyson for 46 years and is survived by his children, Carol Reed her husband Ken, Beverly Price and her husband Dan, and Ann Sapp and her husband Russell, and 3 grandchildren, Hannah and Ariel Reed, and Nathan Sapp. Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, GA this Friday from 5-8 pm. Funeral services will be at Briarlake Baptist Church Chapel this Saturday at 11 am. In lieu of flowers you may donate to his favorite charities, Paralyzed Veterans of America, or the Atlanta Union Mission in his name.
