I went to law school with Adam. We kept in touch over the years, until I moved to San Diego. I was thinking of him recently, and how I wanted to get back in touch with him. I was so sad to learn, upon my Internet search, that he passed away. I'm so sad. He was a funny, smart, kind person. Really a genuine friend. I used to purposely sit next to him in all my classes because I knew he would have clever insights and actually contribute a little mirth to all the seriousness. He is missed.

One of the truly remarkable people at UPenn and unparalleled in terms of dedication to service and intellectual excellence.  He helped us so many times resolving legal challenges in our projects - so hard to imagine doing research without his council.

I've worked with Adam since 2007 and I saw him leave on his last day at work.  I'm struggling with the knowledge that I'll never see or talk to him again.  He was a funny, smart and helpful colleague and once you shared a laugh with him or talked to him about his family (including Tricksy) you knew what really made him happy.  I wish peace and comfort for his family and all who knew him.  May Adam rest well.  He is truly missed and truly mourned every day.

I only knew Adam for about a year and a half, but he was one of the most genuine people I've ever met. Intelligent, funny and a really, really excellent coworker. I just lost someone recently and he was one of the few people to say anything; which proves how caring he was. He made a great kugel, too! I'll really miss him, there aren't many out there like him. The Earth just lost one of the good ones.

Adam was a wonderful co-worker, incredibly helpful and patient. His sense of humor was charming. He will certainly be missed by many of us at Penn.

I remember Adam sitting at the computer in my home office helping me understand my new monster in the 80's. He was funny, warm, super smart and part of our family. He was my kids' friend, but mine, too.

Thank you for sharing Adam with the University of Pennsylvania's ORS family. Adam has left an indelible memory that we will always cherish. His wisdom shined brightly, his work ethic was impeccable and his willingness to help others will always be treasured. May the memories of times shared carry you through the dark days that will fade over time and be replaced with smiles and laughter.

In November, I met Adam at UPenn and he welcomed me to the team immediately.  Adam made a great impression on me with his witty humor, his legal knowledge and his human touch.  He was truly a gentle bear!

Adam will remain within our hearts.  I will miss his hearty chuckle. I will chant for his life and for the lives of all his family members and friends.  SRA

What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes part of us.

I will miss Adam. He was a good man who was a little hard to get to know but once you did get to know him he was a kind, caring person.  I will remember his smile and laughter. My sympathies to his famy.

I went to law school with Adam.  He was a super nice guy who was always upbeat.  He will be missed.

I only knew Adam for a very brief period of time. I met him recently through Penn. It isn't often that you meet someone that you immediately see as kind, bright and helpful...he was all of those. My thoughts are with his friends and family.
