Judith Bernice Larson

Judy was born on July 22, 1938 in Traverse City, the daughter of Ernest and Edith (Nyberg) Anderson. She graduated from Northport High School in 1956 and married the love of her life, Clayton Larson, in 1958. Judy worked full time as a data clerk for R.L. Polk for 43 years. After retirement, she was able to spend time crocheting and cross stitching. She could often be found watching her favorite shows on TV, working in her flower beds, or watching the birds. Judy was a compassionate woman who tirelessly cared for her husband for nearly 15 years following his stroke and cared for her grandson when he was a baby.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Jolene (Paul) Clous; grandson, Curtis John Clous; and sister, Bethany Babcock. Preceding her in death are her husband, parents, and son, Curtis Lee Larson.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Covell Funeral Home in Traverse City, with visitation starting at noon. There will also be visitation on Tuesday, Aug. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Cherryland Humane Society.
