Jeffrey James Skorupski

Jeff was born in Farmington Hills on a rainy Tuesday afternoon, September 16, 1975, he was the son of James L. and Karen M. (Kurosky) Skorupski. He was employed at Art Van Furniture. Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, music, detailing automobiles and boats, remodeling his home and spending quality time with his family. He had many special friends and enjoyed “hanging out “ with them.

Jeff is survived by the love of his life his fiancée Heidi Rogers and his step daughter Khia. His mother Karen Skorupski of Maple City, his father James (Connie) Skorupski of Florida, his paternal grandmother Ann Skorupski, his aunts, uncles, cousins and his Art Van family. He will be sadly missed by his three golden retrievers Bella, Khoda and Marley.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Henry Skorupski, and maternal grandparents Edmund and Adeline Kurosky.

Visitation was held at the Covell Funeral Home, 232 E. State St., on Friday February 27, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Celebration of Jeff's life was held at 1pm on Saturday February 28, 2009 also at the Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeff's name for his first child due August 2009. Checks can be made payable to Memories 975209, Credit Union One, 1202 Veterans Dr., Traverse City.
